Alfred Grislawski flew this Bf 109 G-2 as an Oberfeldwebel with 9./JG 52 in the Caucasus in September 1942. Under the cockpit is the 9th Staffel emblem, the Karaya emblem with the name of Alfred Grislawski's fiancé, Ilse, in white. The author Christer Bergström remains in contact with Mrs Ilse Grislawski, the widow of Alfred Grislawski who passed away in September 2003. Photo by Anders Hjortsberg.

Anders Hjortsberg, who made this beautiful model, wrote: "Having read the book Graf and Grislawski - A pair of Aces by Christer Bergström I knew instantly that I sooner or later just had to make a model of Alfred Grislawski's Bf109G-2, "Yellow 10". I wanted it to be something extra since the story of Alfred Grislawki's personality impressed me a lot!
